DESCRIPTION :

This Hardener developed especially for the bonding of Neoprene and Neoprene Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene water resistant materials, as used for inflatable floats and inflatable structures. When using neoprene ORCA® GLUE, add 5% to 10% ORCA® HARNDENER RFE according to the quantity of ORCA® GLUE used. From 10 liters of mixed product, it is possible to improve the pot life of the adhesive by reducing the quantity of hardener to 5% in volume only.

Gluing value

During laboratory testing using sample materials, the following average results were obtained :

	Shearing test :		after 7 days > 80° C : 80 daN/15cm²
	Peeling test :		after 7 days >20 °C: 18 daN/5cm after 7 days >70 °C: 8 daN/5cm

These values are given as examples only. Depending their composition, surfaces should either be cleaned or rubbed-down before the glue is applied.

It is advisable to make a number of tests in a suitable manner according to the composition and origin of the materials to be glued, in view of the fact that these factors can considerably affect the results obtained.
